At Monkey Puzzle West Kensington, we love giving our children opportunities to learn from the amazing people in our community, and sometimes, those real life heroes are our very own parents.

As part of our Real Life Role Models series, we were delighted to welcome a special guest today, one of our very own nursery parents, who came in to talk about her incredible job working with rescue animals. 

She spoke to the children all about the brave cats and dogs she works with and how these amazing animals are trained to help rescue people in need. The children were fascinated to learn how animals can be heroes too and they asked lots of thoughtful questions. It was such a wonderful way to inspire curiosity and kindness.

To say thank you, her children presented her with a beautiful bunch of flowers and a handmade card at the end of the session. It was such a heartwarming moment and a lovely reminder of the strong bond between families, the nursery, and our local community.

We’re so proud to celebrate the real people who help shape the world around us and to show our little ones that anyone can be a hero in their own way.
